Does ArgusDCM run on-premises or in the cloud?

Both. ArgusDCM is browser-based and containerized, so you can run it on your own infrastructure or in the cloud, whichever your policies require.

What does monitoring require on my network?

A lightweight network agent runs inside each monitored segment, reads your SNMP devices over the network, and pushes results out over a single outbound HTTPS connection. Nothing is installed on the monitored devices, and there are no inbound firewall rules to approve.

Which devices can ArgusDCM monitor?

Any network-capable SNMP device, vendor-agnostic: PDUs, UPS systems, environmental sensors, network gear, and servers. There is no vendor-approved catalog to wait on.

How often does ArgusDCM poll?

Polling intervals are configurable per device, down to 10 seconds, and alert rules, both rate-of-rise and threshold, are evaluated continuously.

How long does deployment take?

ArgusDCM installs as a modern containerized application, with no professional-services engagement required. You can start modeling sites, racks, and assets as soon as it's running, and templates with bulk creation get your inventory in fast.

How is access to the platform controlled?
